Pain de Mie


This is as close as you will get to a white loaf in France.  “Mie” means crumb because this bread is all about the crumb.  A soft, fluffy crumb and a soft crust.

It makes wonderful sandwiches and is enjoyed by all age groups. The most important difference between this and factory bread is that it contains no additives or preservatives.  It is also slowly fermented for maximum nutrition and digestion. Ingredients – white organic wheat flour, sugar, butter, yeast, salt, water and milk
